The Gulf 1990 / 1991 - 54 Engineer Support and Ambulance Squadron RCT contributed to Op Desert Shield supporting the 7th Armoured Brigade(Desert Rats). This was the largest single deployment of British Troops since the Second World War. The Liberation of Kuwait. 16 January to 25 February 1991. (The 40 day War).
